Located right in the centre of town, Bird House is the perfect base for shoots that mix studio and location work. Whether you’re heading to the beach, shooting fashion, or exploring Margate’s unique character, you’ll have endless creative options just steps away.

Work Space

Our photo studio offers 40m² of working space with 3m-high ceilings, giving you plenty of room for full-length shots, creative setups, and smooth production flow. The hard-wearing beech floor not only looks great on camera but is also ideal for dynamic shoots like dance, movement, or even roller skating. The studio also offers excellent access for loading equipment, making setup quick and easy.

On-site Equipment

Bird House features multiple backdrop systems, including one with natural light access—ideal for portraits. Built into the eaves, these systems preserve the studio’s generous 3m ceiling height, making them perfect for full-length shots.

You’ll have access to our lighting equipment, tripods, projector and green screen, and we can order specific colours in advance upon request—just get in touch before your shoot.
