About Bird House Margate

Bird House Margate is owned and run by local creative Joel Bird. The building was once a derelict mechanic’s workshop—rundown, frequently used for fly-tipping, and an eyesore on the street. Joel transformed the space into a vibrant eco studio, bringing new creative energy and business into the area.

Today, Bird House is proudly powered entirely by solar energy, reflecting Joel’s commitment to sustainable design and environmentally conscious creativity.
